  • 1 1/2 c. wild and long grain rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sliced green onions
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 1 c. sliced water chestnuts

Directions

    Combine all ingredients and mix well.

    Pour into dish and cover with foil.

    Bake at 325°, stirring every 20 minutes until margarine melts.

    Reduce heat to 300° and bake 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
