- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 2 cups water
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
Directions

1Melt butter in a 2 qt. saucepan over high heat.

2Saute' onion and green pepper until tender crisp.

3Add rice; cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

4Add water and chicken bouillon; bring to a boil.

5Stir once.

6Reduce heat to low.

7Stir once.

8Cover and cook for 15 minutes.

9Don't look!

10Remove from heat and uncover.

11Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

12Serve hot.
