Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 quart of Milk
  • 1 tsp of Vanilla
  • 3 TBSP Margarine
  • 3/4 cup of regular rice
  • 3/4 cup of sugar

Directions

    In the top half of a double boiler mix all the above ingredients, in the bottom half fill with water until it just touches the bottom of the top pan.

    Boil the water slowly and keep checking the water to make sure it doesn't completely boil out. Keep mixing the pudding occasionally.

    Cook at least for an hour, maybe more.

    When the rice is no longer hard or crunchy, it is done.

    Remove from the heat and let cool before refrigerating. Sprinkle with cinnamon and ENJOY.
