  • 1/2 c. rice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 2 to 3 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • lemon or vanilla extract

    Cook rice in salted water.

    Set aside to cool.

    Mix in casserole dish sugar, flour and cooking oil.

    Beat eggs and mix with other ingredients.

    Add cooked rice and milk.

    Mix well.

    Add flavoring.

    Set casserole in pan of water and bake in 400° oven until brown and then at 300° for about 30 to 45 minutes.
