- 5 cups Broccoli Florets, Rinsed And Patted Dry
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/4 teaspoons Kosher Or Other Coarse Salt, Or More To Taste
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper, To Taste

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Toss thoroughly to combine.

3Spread the broccoli in a single layer on a baking sheet.

4Roast for 5 minutes. Flip over the florets and continue roasting for 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly charred and the florets are still crisp. (You don't want to overcook the broccoli, or it will be come soft and limp, not crispy and crunchy.)

5Serve immediately.

6** This is just the basic recipe. Feel free to jazz it up by adding some garlic or chili flakes before roasting. Or try some lemon juice or parmesan cheese when the broccoli is hot out of the oven. Just make sure you don't skimp on the olive oil, since that's what allows the broccoli to really crisp up.
