Ingredients
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. quick oats
- 1 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 cake or pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 5 c. flour
Directions

1Bring water to boil; add salt, oats, oleo and molasses.

2Cool. Add yeast which has been dissolved in the 1/2 cup warm water. Add flour and beat well.

3Knead on floured board.

4Put in greased bowl and let rise double in bulk.

5Make into 2 loaves.

6Put in loaf pans.

7Let rise to double in bulk.
-
8Bake in 350° oven for 40 minutes.

9Bread needs to set a good hour before it can be cut.
