- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 large egg yolks
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 (10 oz.) jar raspberry jam
- 1 c. chocolate bits
- 2 c. finely chopped walnuts
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 large egg whites
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine butter and sugar until creamy and well mixed.

2Beat in salt and egg yolks.

3Add flour and mix well, kneading with fingers to make a smooth dough.

4Pat dough evenly into the bottom of a greased 12 x 17-inch pan.

5Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 350° preheated oven until lightly browned.

6Remove from oven and spread with jam and chocolate bits.
