  • 1 pound pasta, rotini 16 ounces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets fresh and chopped
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic or as needed, minced

  • 1 cup stock chicken or vegetable
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice fresh, or to taste
  • 4 tablespoons parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated

    Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked through, but still firm to the bite, 7 to 9 minutes.
