- 1 c. canned figs, diced
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. each: soda, nutmeg, baking powder, cinnamon, allspice and vanilla

1Mix oil and sugar; add eggs and add buttermilk and flour alternately.
