- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. rum
- 2 c. whole unsalted cashews
- 1/4 c. butter
Directions

1Combine sugar and rum in medium size saucepan.

2Bring to boil; cook 3 minutes or 234° on candy thermometer.

3Remove from heat. Immediately add cashews and stir to coat.

4Return to medium heat and stir constantly to re-melt sugar.

5When sugar is golden brown, remove from heat and stir in butter.

6Spread on well oiled cookie sheet to dry.

7Break apart with fork.
