- 6 to 8 chicken thighs
- 1 large onion, cut into large pieces
- garlic salt
- pepper
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- pure maple syrup
Directions

1Heat oil in skillet; add chicken and garlic salt and pepper to taste.

2Add onion.

3Cook covered over low heat (juices from chicken and onion should supply enough moisture) for 30 to 40 minutes.

4Juice will brown and cook away, allowing chicken to brown on bottom.

5When pieces are turned over, water may be added to ensure that chicken is thoroughly cooked.

6Pour maple syrup over chicken; simmer for 2 to 5 minutes.

7Water may be added to skillet at any time as needed.
