Sage Meat Loaf

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. snipped parsley or 1 Tbsp. dried parsley
- 1 tsp. salt plus 1/2 tsp. ground sage
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef or ground chuck
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1Combine eggs and milk; stir in the bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt and sage.

2Add beef; mix well.

3Pat mixture into an 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan and bake 1 1/4 hours at 350°.

4Spoon off the excess fat.

5Combine the ketchup, brown sugar and dry mustard; spread over the meat loaf and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.

6Serves 6 to 8 people.
