- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger or wild meat
- 1/2 lb. pork, ground
- 2 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. mustard seed
- 3 Tbsp. curing salt
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Mix all ingredients well.

2Refrigerate in a covered bowl.

3The following two mornings, mix the ingredients well and return to refrigerator.

4On fourth day, form into rolls, place in pans and bake eight hours at 180°.

5An alternative method is to wrap the rolls in foil, prick the foil and boil for 1 hour.

6Let the salami set 24 hours before eating.
