Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 /3 c. warm milk
- 2/3 c. milk
- 4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, cream butter; add sugar and eggs and beat until light and fluffy.

2Dissolve yeast in warm milk; add remaining milk.

3Sift together salt and flour; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.

4Cover and allow to stand in warm place until double (1 1/2 hours).

5Punch down and turn into a buttered ring mold or tube pan.

6Cover until doubled (30 minutes).

7Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

8Turn out immediately onto wire rack to cool, right side up.

9Drizzle with vanilla icing while still warm.
