- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. half and half
- 1 Tbsp. sherry
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli spears, cooked and drained
- 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can pink salmon, drained
- paprika to taste
- 1/4 c. toasted sliced almonds
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In medium saucepan, over low heat, melt butter.

3Blend in flour, onion powder and sugar.

4Mix until smooth. Cook and stir 1 minute.

5Remove from heat.
-
6Gradually add half and half, stirring until smooth with each addition.

7Cook and stir over medium to high heat until sauce just comes to a boil and is thickened.

8Remove from heat.
-
9Stir in sherry.
