- 8 c. ripe tomatoes
- 3 to 4 c. green peppers, chopped
- 1 to 2 c. hot peppers, chopped
- 2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 to 10 dashes Snappy Tom or Texas Pete hot sauce (depending on degree of spiciness desired)
- 1 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 (10 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/4 c. catsup
Directions

1Bring all ingredients to boil and simmer at least 30 minutes (3 to 4 hours in slow cooker).

2Process in sterilized pint and 1/2 pint jars in hot water bath for 30 minutes.

3Yields 8 pints.
