  • 1 c. butter
  • powdered sugar
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Directions

    Cream butter and 5 tablespoons sugar; work flour, vanilla and nuts into creamed mixture.

    Form into desired shape.

    Cook on ungreased baking sheet at 325° to 355° for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Roll in powdered sugar.

    Yields 5 to 6 dozen.
