- 1 1/2 Tbsp. mixed pickling spices
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 4 c. vinegar
- water to cover
- 16 gingersnaps
Directions

1Marinate meat in vinegar, onions, honey and spices 4 hours or overnight.

2Brown meat and cook onions, salt and pepper; cover with marinade.

3Roast, covered, at 350° for 20 minutes per pound, plus 20 minutes.

4Thicken pan juices with gingersnaps.
