- 1/2 head cabbage (about 1 1/2 lb.)
- 1 c. white sauce
- 1/2 c. cheese grated or cut into small pieces
- buttered bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook the pieces of cabbage in boiling salt water for 5 to 7 minutes.

2Drain the water from cabbage.

3In buttered baking dish, layer cabbage and white sauce.

4Put bread crumbs on top and dot with butter.

5Top with cheese.

6Bake at 400° until crumbs are brown.
