- 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 6 soda crackers, crumbled and mixed with 2 Tbsp. margarine
Directions

1Cook cabbage in boiling water (salted) for 10 minutes; drain well.

2Melt butter in saucepan.

3Add flour; blend until smooth. Add milk; cook until smooth white sauce develops.

4Place alternate layers of cabbage, white sauce and cheese in baking dish.

5Top with cracker mixture.

6Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes.

7Yields 6 to 8 servings.
