- 1 qt. oysters
- 3 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. diced celery
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/3 c. liquid from oysters
- 1/3 c. milk
Directions

1Heat oven to 450°.

2Mix bread crumbs with melted butter. Spread half of the crumbs in a greased baking dish (10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inches).

3Arrange over crumbs in 2 layers:

4oysters (drained), salt, pepper, celery, parsley, milk, liquid from oysters and remaining crumbs.

5Top layer will be crumbs.

6Bake about 30 minutes.

7Turn oven back to 400° if it begins to brown the crumbs.
