- 3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 c. sliced potatoes
- 1 small onion, sliced thin
- paprika
Directions

1Melt butter or oleo in 4-cup glass measure, uncovered, on High (maximum power) for 1 minute.

2Stir in flour.

3Heat milk in 2-cup glass measure, uncovered, on 70 power for 2 minutes.

4Stir milk into flour mixture until smooth.

5Add salt and pepper.

6Cook, uncovered, on 70 power for 5 to 6 minutes or until mixture boils and thickens.

7Stir twice during cooking time.

8In 2-quart microproof casserole, combine peeled and sliced potatoes, onions and white sauce.

9Cover with waxed paper and cook on 90 power for 9 minutes.

10Stir.

11Cover and cook on 90 power for 9 to 10 more minutes or until potatoes are tender.

12Sprinkle with paprika. Makes 4 servings.
