- 4 cold biscuits (homemade), broken in small pieces
- 2 (1 pt.) cans tomatoes
- 2/3 c. sugar (heavy)
- 1/2 stick butter
- dash of nutmeg
Directions

1Cover bottom of greased baking dish with bread crumbs from 2 biscuits.

2Add 1 can of tomatoes and juice, 1/2 of the sugar and 1/2 of the butter.

3For the second layer, add the remaining tomatoes, sugar, butter, nutmeg and bread crumbs.

4Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.

5Stir 3 or more times while baking.
