- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. milk (scant)
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients together.

2Cut butter into dry mixture. Add the beaten egg and milk.

3Form mixture into a ball.

4Flour hands, board and rolling pin. Roll dough into a circle about 1/2-inch thick.

5Cut circle into 8 wedges.

6Prick with fork.

7Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 to 15 minutes at 400°.
