  • 6 c. water
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, sliced
  • 3 shoulder lamb chops (all meat cut from the bones)
  • 2 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 1 small leek, entirely sliced
  • 1 small turnip, diced
  • 1 very large carrot, sliced
  • 1/2 c. pearl barley

Directions

    Mix all ingredients into a large pot and bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes. Serve with fresh rye bread and butter.
