- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300°.

2Cream butter and sugar.

3Add flour, one cup at a time, to make a stiff dough.

4Spread in pan to form a circle and flute the edge. Prick with a fork and mark 16 wedge shaped pieces.

5Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.

6While hot, cut into 16 wedges as marked.

7Sprinkle with sugar if desired.

8Makes 16 pieces.
