  • 1 braising steak
  • 1 lamb shoulder - diced
  • 1 potatos chopped fairly large
  • 1 diced carrots
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 diced tunip
  • 1 splash worcestershire sauce
  • 1 plain flour
  • 1 dash tomato ketchup
  • 1 beef stock
  • 1 salt and black pepper
  • 1 herbs - thyme and sage, fresh is better
  • 1 optional - half glass brown ale

Directions

    Place the meat in a bowl, season with the salt and pepper and add the flour.

    In a pan, heat a bit of olive oil with the dash of worcestershire sauce.

    Add the floured and seasoned meat and brown for 2 minutes.

    Add to slow cooker.

    Add all other ingredients to the slow cooker.

    The fluid level should just cover the meat and veg.

    Cook on high for 5 hours or low for 8 hours.
