Leviticus 2:13 (salt); 2 tsp. 1 Corinthians 5:6 (baking powder); 1 Tbsp. 1 Kings 10:10 (mixed spices); 1 c. Judges 4:19 (milk); 1 c. Genesis 43:11 (almonds); 2 c. 1 Samuel 25:18 (figs); 2 c. 1 Samuel 30:12 (raisins)

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.

Add well beaten egg yolks and beat well.

Add honey; mix.

Sift in dry ingredients.

Add alternately with milk to the butter mixture.

Beat until smooth. Add chopped nuts and fruit.

Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into a greased paper lined 9 x 13-inch pan.

Bake at 350° for 1 hour 15 minutes.
