  • 3 to 3 1/2 lb. cut up and skinned chicken
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. melted margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. tarragon
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 4 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. minced parsley
  • 1/2 c. sesame seed
  • small amount of onion powder

Directions

    Combine margarine, tarragon and lemon juice; combine bread crumbs, parsley, sesame seed, salt and onion powder.

    Pour buttermilk over chicken, cover and refrigerate overnight.

    Discard buttermilk and pat chicken dry.

    Dip chicken in margarine mixture, then bread crumbs and arrange on a baking sheet.

    Cover and refrigerate until 1 to 1 1/2 hours before dinner.

    Bake at 350° for approximately 1 hour.
