Simple Roast Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 (4-5 lb.) shoulder or possibly chuck roast
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dry whole rosemary
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 med. onions, thinly sliced
- 5-6 med. potatoes, peeled and halved
Directions

1Brown roast on all sides in warm oil in a large Dutch oven.

2Combine next 6 ingredients; pour over roast.

3Add in onions.

4Cover and simmer 2 hrs.

5Add in potatoes, cover and cook 30-45 min or possibly till potatoes are tender.

6Yield 8-10 servings.
