- 2 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 6 lg. potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 8 carrots, sliced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 env. dry onion soup mix
Directions

1In a Dutch oven, place half of the meat, potatoes and carrots.

2Repeat layers.

3Add water and tomato sauce.

4Sprinkle onion soup mix over the top.

5Do not stir.

6Cover and bake at 250F for 5 hours.
