Smothered Deer Tips

- 1 1/2 lb. deer stew meat
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- salt and pepper
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet (optional)
Directions

1Cut stew meat into small pieces and brown in cooking oil. Remove meat and saute onion and garlic in the oil.

2When onion is tender, put the meat back into oil with onion and garlic.

3Add flour and toss until blended.

4Salt and pepper to taste.

5Lower heat and slowly add water until sauce is not too thick.

6Add Kitchen Bouquet to darken and simmer on low flame until meat is tender, about 1 hour.
