- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 1 pkg. caramels (I used 1/2 pkg.)
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/3 c. milk
- 3/4 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1Mix cake as directed.

2Pour half of the batter in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

3Bake 20 minutes at 350°.

4Melt caramels, margarine and milk.

5Pour over cake.

6Sprinkle with chocolate chips.

7Pour remaining cake batter on top.

8Bake 20 minutes at 250°, then 10 minutes at 350°.

9Cool and frost (very good without frosting).
