Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

    - Beat butter on high for 30 seconds

    - Add 1 cup of sugar, baking soda, & cream of tartar

    - Scrape bowl

    - Beat in egg & vanilla

    - Beat in as much flour as you can with mixer then stir in remaing flour

    - Cover & chill in fridge about 1 hr

    - Combine 1 Tsp sugar & cinnamon

    - Shape dough into 1-inch balls

    - Roll balls in cinnamon sugar and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet

    - Bake 375F for 10-11 minutes until edges are golden

    - Transfer to rack and cool
