  • 1 (9 oz.) carton whipped topping
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 large angel food cake (I bake mine)
  • 2 Tbsp. Knox gelatine
  • 4 Tbsp. cold water
  • maraschino cherries

Directions

    Soften gelatine in cold water.

    Add boiling water and stir until dissolved.

    Add sugar, lemon juice and pineapple, including juice.

    Chill until firm.

    Fold whipped topping mix into gelatine mixture.
