- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 (16 oz.) bag milk chocolate chips
- saltine crackers
- 1 c. brown sugar
- nuts (optional)
Directions

1Generously butter a jelly roll pan; line it with a single layer of crackers and set aside.

2In a saucepan, boil butter and brown sugar for 3 minutes.

3Pour this over crackers and bake 7 minutes at 400°.

4Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

5When melted, spread chips evenly over crackers.

6Sprinkle with nuts if desired.

7Cool and break into pieces (or cut into 1 to 2-inch squares with a sharp knife).
