  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks melted Blue Bonnet margarine
  • 6 eggs

Directions

    Cream softened margarine well; add sugar and cream well.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one.

    Add baking soda to sour cream and stir.

    Add this mixture alternately with flour. When completed, add 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.

    Bake in preheated oven at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
