Sourdough Bread (From Starter)

- 1 1/2 c. starter
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1In a large bowl, sprinkle yeast over warm water and let it stand for 5 minutes.

2Stir in sugar, eggs and starter.

3Gradually add flour mixed with salt.

4Cover bowl with a damp towel and let dough rise until doubled.

5Knead on floured board until satiny. Shape into 1 large loaf or 2 smaller loaves.

6Set on a cookie sheet to bake or put in greased bread pans.

7Make diagonal slashes on top of bread and cover.

8Let rise until doubled in size.

9Then bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
