- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Directions

1Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil.

2Reduce heat and maintain water to a simmer.

3In medium bowl, combine all the ingredients into a batter.

4Place a colander over the pan of water. Pour about 1/4 of the batter in the colander and press through the holes into the water with a spatula.

5When dumplings begin to float, cover pan and simmer about 5 minutes until they appear to swell and are fluffy.

6Remove dumplings and repeat with remaining batter.
