  • 5 lb. ground beef
  • 3 cans (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 3 cans (15 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 3 small onions
  • 7 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 5 tsp. salt
  • 3 medium green peppers
  • 2 cans water from tomato paste cans
  • 2 cans water from tomato sauce cans
  • 4 jars (4 1/2 oz.) whole mushrooms (optional)

Directions

    Brown ground beef over medium heat, approximately 25 minutes. Add other ingredients.

    Lower heat and cook about 1 hour.
