  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 whole clove
  • 1 sprig parsley
  • 2 qt. tomatoes or 1 qt. tomato puree

    Dice and cook in oil green pepper, onion, celery and garlic. Add bay leaf, whole clove, parsley and tomatoes or puree.

    Simmer slowly until sauce is thick.
