  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • No. 2 can whole tomatoes, crushed with juice
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper (or dash of Texas Pete)

Directions

    Saute onions and peppers in 1 tablespoon bacon grease until translucent.
