- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
- 2 whole Granny Smith Apples

1Preheat oven to 200 F.

2In a large bowl, combine the sugar and all of the spices.

3Slice apples horizontally very thinly (1/8 thick) with a mandoline or sharp knife.

4Remove and discard the core and seeds.

5Toss the apples gently in the spice mix and coat well.

6Arrange apple slices in a single layer on rimmed baking sheets that youve lined with parchment paper or a Silpat.

7Bake for about 2 hours, turning the apple chips every 30 minutes.

8Cool on wire racks and then store in an airtight container for 1 week.
