Spinach Bread

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 pkg. chopped frozen spinach
  • 1 medium onion
  • fresh garlic
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 loaves French bread

Directions

    Saute onion and garlic in margarine.

    Add squeezed spinach; saute.

    Add cheese.

    Stir until melted.

    Cut French bread lengthwise.

    Spread softened margarine on both sides.

    Spread spinach on one side.

    Close.

    Wrap in foil.

    Heat until hot at 350°.

    You can serve as open-faced or sandwich style pieces.
