  • 2 pkg. frozen spinach
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. cream or milk
  • 1/2 c. spinach liquid
  • 8 oz. jalapeno cheese
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs

    Cook spinach.

    Drain, reserving liquid.

    Melt margarine in saucepan over low heat.

    Add flour and blend.

    Add onion and cook until soft.

    Pour in spinach liquid and cream slowly.

    Cook until smooth and creamy.

    Add seasonings and cheese.

    Stir until melted. Combine with spinach in casserole.
