- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach, chopped, cooked and drained
- 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 3 drops Tabasco
- 1 1/2 rolls garlic cheese, sliced
- 1 c. chopped mushrooms
- 1 (2 1/4 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
Directions

1Melt margarine; add onion and cook until clear.

2Add spinach. Stir in soup and seasonings.

3Pour 1/2 mixture into greased 2-quart casserole.

4Top with layer of cheese, then mushrooms and almonds.

5Repeat layers.

6Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

7Stir well; refrigerate when cool.

8Reheat for party.

9Serve with Melba rounds.
