- 1 c. white corn meal
- 1 c. boiling water
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 tsp. melted margarine
- 2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, scald cornmeal with boiling water. Add eggs, salt, sugar and margarine.

2Mix well.

3Add milk.

4If mixture is not as thin as water, add more milk.

5Finally add baking powder and blend.

6Pour into a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

7Bake in a 375° oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.

8Serve with pats of margarine.
