Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. melted margarine
  • 4 c. self-rising flour *

Directions

    Mix together dissolved yeast, egg, sugar and margarine.

    Add all of flour and stir.

    Cover in glass bowl.

    Can be used immediately or placed in refrigerator and used as needed.

    Will keep up to 2 weeks.

    To bake:

    Drop by spoonfuls into greased muffin tins.

    Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.
