  • 2 squash
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 3/4 c. cracker crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. grated American cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Slice squash and cook with onion in small amount of water. Drain.

    Add cracker crumbs, butter and almost all of cheese.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Beat eggs slightly, then add milk.

    Mix with squash mixture.

    Pour in casserole dish.

    Sprinkle with remainder of cheese.

    Bake at 425°.
