- 2 c. sliced squash
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/4 stick margarine
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. milk
- 8 Ritz crackers, crushed
Directions

1Boil squash and onion in salted water until tender.

2Drain and mash with a fork.

3Add cheese and margarine while squash is hot. Add egg and milk.

4Mix thoroughly.

5Stir in cracker crumbs; season with pepper.

6Put in shallow pan, greased lightly with margarine, and bake at 350° until brown, about 20 minutes.
